By the way... I completely forgot to mention this:
It has to be compiled with a new version of LibC (if using the GNU
compiler).
The AVR-GCC 3.2 release has a serious bug in the strstr() function,
which can produce false positive string recognitions.
This was fixed somewhere around december last year.

I am currently using the WinAVR-20030115 release, and it works fine.
