[En-Nut-Discussion] PPP Debugging Software

I'm looking for an inexpensive way to view the serial stream between Ethernut and a modem to help debug PPP negotiation.  Ethereal can decode PPP packets, but I'm not of the best way to import these packets into the program.  I'm currently using Windows, but should learn Linux sooner or later.

What tools do you folks use?
