Hi!

I just wanted to announce that I have ported the Contiki desktop OS to
the Ethernut hardware and have set up a demonstration server running on
an Ethernut board at

   http://contiki-demo.sics.se/

Contiki is a small graphical operating system specially intended for
small systems and have previously been ported to a lot of old hardware
such as the Commodore 64, the Nintendo GameBoy, the 8-bit Ataris and a
bunch of other systems. There are a small number of applications for the
system, including a web server and a web browser.

The demo server runs a VNC server which makes it possible to remotely
access the desktop either directly from the web browser, or by using a
VNC client program. It allows for 8 simultaneous users, and each user
can access the display for a limited amount of time.

More information about Contiki can be found at the Contiki homepage:

Thanks to Harald Kipp and everyone else who has made the Ethernut board
possible! It works exceptionally well and is very straightforward to
use!

Cheers,

/adam
