[En-Nut-Discussion] Blocking Spam

Hi all,

Two days ago I spend hours to recover from an overfilled
mailbox caused by excessive spam from China Telcom and
Kornet. We blocked email access from most of the networks
hosted by these companies and we will extend the blocklist.
Beside that I have to remove upto 50 non-member emails each
day from our mailing lists. I'm really filled up now!

And it's not just coming from Far East. A new candidate on
our list is Comcast Cable Communications. They send daily spams
and never respond to our complains. I'm not able and willing to
sort out individual IP addresses, but will block their complete
IP range.

If you ever get a response from egnite saying

"550 Spam not welcome - use other providers"

please try to contact us using a different mail account.

Furthermore we may redirect certain IP ranges to a block
page on our webserver in the future to keep these mail
address collecting robots out.

Sigh, it's really frustrating.
