[En-Nut-Discussion] Demo apps: Yellow LED does go off two seconds after program start, can't establish network link

Hi,

I'm currently playing with a Ethernut 1.3 Rev-G.
My first steps are to flash and run the provided sample applications.
Flashing works fine, sending data via uart to PC Terminal works also.

There is one big problem: the network link doesn't work.

Example:
After flashing httpserv.hex and running it, the yellow is on for two
seconds only.
During this short time, Ethernut is sending "Nut/OS 3.9.1.0 pre HTTP
Daemon...192.168.2.222 ready".
Ethernut does neither respond to http request nor to ping. Yellow and
green LED are off.

Similar problem with basemon:
After launching it, yellow LED is on for two seconds only.
With pressing space key, menu appears and green LED is on.
After pressing x and confirming network settings (MAC an IP's are
looking ok), yellow LED is flashing once and green LED is showing
network traffic.
When I send broadcast (option 'B') before launching http daemon, all
works well.

My question: What is the trick to get all the demo applications running
(= yellow LED on, possible to ping/telnet/http the Ethernut card)?

Br,
Georg
