- When selecting software flow control, XON will be sent on next read,
if low water mark is reached.

- when XOFF received, transmitter now stops.

- #define UART_HDX_FLIP_BIT to invert the polarity of the half duplex
pin.  This makes it the same polarity as RTS Toggle done by the Windows
NT comms driver.
