Harald,

As Alex mentioned when ppp server rejected lcp option , ethernut tries to
use this option again and again. This should be avoided. However, I couldn't
manage to avoid this loop.

Looks like this is a similar problem as Alex
reported. To find the problem cause, it is
required to trace the PPP traffic as mentioned
earlier.
