Bengt only moved this. It had been in the code since
Ethernut 0.9. And, of course, it never worked.
There had been an EEPROM emulation published here some
time ago (can't find it right now), which emulates
an EEPROM with two ATmega PORTE pins.
I didn't want to lose two general purpose pins, so my
idea was to temporarily use two address bits for
the emulation. As far as I can say, it seems to work.
The FUDUP bit is now on...but how to proof that it's
really doing full duplex?
