myself - I'd prefer the change but will be happy with the warning

So what about my first (constructive) proposal:
At least put a BIG WARNING sticker in the usart.h file.

I might write this warning, but I don't know how this could
be changed in more than the CVS HEAD brach (which is luck of
CVS understanding on my side). Anybody else interested ?

Talking about documentation: Does anybody know where the
printf format types are described (%d %ld .. )?
