Hi,

> Mention was made of "CVS". Can someone explain the term to me?

CVS is the "Concurrent Version System" and is used for revision control
of the code. You can work with a group of programmers on the same code
and use CVS to merge all these different code versions together.

Take a look at:

http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~dbutler/tutorials/winter96/cvs/

To use the Ethernut CVS take a look at:

http://www.ethernut.de/en/developers.html
and
http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=34079
