hi,

according to the ethernut memory manual:

"The flash ROM in the AVR
microcontrollers has a guaranteed endurance of at least 1,000 write/erase
cycles. In the real world, this number may be ten or more times higher. "

I'm new to microcontroller programming and have been writing to the flash
rom quite a bit for testing; should I be more conservative?

has anyone ever reached the flashrom erase limit? I suppose its not
replaceable since its inside the microcontroller chip.
