[En-Nut-Discussion] time

Hello,
    I was wondering if some one can tell me the amount of time (for an
8 byte packet) it takes to reach from the application layer to
ethernet layer. In linux I am getting the numbers as around 25-35
micro seconds. Can somebody give me a pointer how to go about doing
this in Nut/OS or has anyone done this study?
