I think this is a "normal problem" ;-)

Could it be, that you have set "External 32K SRAM" in the options dialog
of ICCAVR?

If you use this options, you MUST use the -ucrtnutram.o in the "Other
Options"
fild of ICCAVR, and NOT the -ucrtnut.o.

I have the same starting problem, some times ago..
