Ole,

   Here are two links to Martin Thomas' AVR code for reading Dallas 1-wire temperature sensors.  (There are several versions of the sensor, but those of interest (12-bit resolution) all work about the same.  The DS18B20 has the highest accuracy, the DS1822 is usually good enough, expecially if you provide an offset adjustment in software.)
