Hi!

I updated http://www.es-business.com/ethernut by adding Nut/OS 4.1.5 build
and sample compile information.
The website is now tested (and works with) IE 6, Firefox 1.5 and Opera (all
tests running on WIn/XP SP2).

I also managed to install Ethernut and the gcc toolchain on RedHat
Enterprise 4. This is also documented there.

If you have suggestions/feedback, pls let me know.

regards
Ernst

Betreff: [En-Nut-Discussion] Information about gcc compiler versions
vs.Ethernut versions

Hi!

I started to compile information about variuous Ethernut versions (3.9.x to
4.1.x) and different gcc versions (3.4.1, 3.4.2, 3.4.5) The resut is a
matrix posted at http://www.es-business.com/ethernut
Click on "Nut/OS Versions vs Compiler Versions

The rows saying "build" in col 1 contain a link to information about
building the libs thru nutconf The rows saying "sample" contain info about
compiling the sample projects or a link to a "detail" page The rows saying
"appload" contain info on compiling the "appload" program (whichis not part
of the "sample apps", but included in the distribution).

The info is thought as a "what works with what" reference.
It is limited to gcc (both avr and arm) on Windows, straight out of the
WinAVR and WinARM distributions.

I will add info on current / new versions when available. (The process of
generating these pages is only partly scripted, there is still quite some
handwork needed and I hope to improve this soon.)

I hope you find this useful; let me know what you like/dislike.

regards

Ernst

P.S. Pls ignore the other links on the vertical bar for now.
