[En-Nut-Discussion] cannot generate nut/os, error targer: select one

Hi, 
i am new to the tool. i have installed nust/os 4.0.2 and configuring it. i
do not see "build tree" option. also if i select  "build nut/OS" get the
following message 
------------------------------------------------------
source directory: c:/ethernut-4.0.2/nut
build directory   : c:/ethernut-4.0.2/nutbld
target platform: select one
------------------------------------------------------
 
i have selected the platform avr-gcc but everytim i get the same result. i
have tried to select different platforms but same result. 
 
wondering if anyone can guide me what to do.
