Results of simple tests I did with app/ftpd and a few
memory cards on Ethernut 3, transferring a 5MB text
file, using Windows Commander's FTP Client:

SanDisk SD Ultra II 512 MB (new)
Writing 118 kB/s
Reading 297 kB/s

SanDisk MMCmobile 128 MB (new)
Writing 120 kB/s
Reading 303 kB/s

takeMS MultiMediaCard 128 MB (new)
Writing 9 kB/s
Reading 283 kB/s

Another takeMS MultiMediaCard 128 MB (also new)
Writing 9 kB/s
Reading 283 kB/s

SanDisk RS-MMC 256 MB (used)
Writing 69 kB/s
Reading 262 kB/s

Sigma SD 256 MB (used)
Writing 33 kB/s
Reading 280 kB/s

NONAME SD 128 MB (used)

Reading 314 kB/s

It should be noted, that the packages of the takeMS cards state:
"The speed you need" and "Made to meet German quality standards". :-)
