[En-Nut-Discussion] HDLC driver

Dear All,
 
I think that the UART driver is not fully implemented, so I wanted to use the USART driver for implementing the HDLC protocol.
 
Is it possible to use the USART driver for HDLC protocol and is it good to use it. Also I want to use hardware handshaking with modem. Will the combination of HDLC with USART suffice for implementing the hardware handshaking.
