AW: [En-Nut-Discussion] Info on Nut/OS Library files and functions

 Hi!

Sorry, slashes versa backslashes in urls... that's fixed now. (error 404 is
gone)

Query Examples:

querying files:

filename: any of the "libnutxxx.a" library file names incl. the ".a"
extension
all others fields are preloaded dropdown menus

example:
enter "libnutarch.a" in the "filename" field and submit -> get a list of all
libnutarch.a files with size, Nut/OS version, compiler version etc

compiler-version "preco" means "precompiled" = shipped whith the respective
ethernut-xxxx.exe installation package. Unformtunately, I dont know (and I
dont know how to find out) which compiler version is used to precompile the
libraries.

querying functions:

example:
enter "NutThreadCreate" in the "function" field and leave all others blank
-> submit -> will give a list of all libnutxxx.a libraries containing this
function. "size" is the compiled function size as listed by read-elf

The "directory" is:
the path-name leading to the library file
(e.g. "nut/lib/gcc/at91" in case of the precompiled libraries or
"nutbld_platform_x.y.z" in case of libraries built by nutconfigure/make
install,
where "platform" is either "avr" or "arm" and x.y.z is the gcc compiler
version used during make install
in both cases:
prefixed by the Nut/OS version (e.g. "4.1.9")

hth

Ernst

Hello Ernst,

would be very helpful.

However, the menu links to
http://www.es-business.com/ethernut/eng/..%5Cnutlib%5Cselect_files.php
which results in error 404.

Trying
http://www.es-business.com/ethernut/nutlib/select_files.php
presents the correct form.

Similar problems with querying functions.

Can you please provide a sample entry of the function query?
I have no idea, what to enter in Dirname, for example.

Thanks,

Harald
