[En-Nut-Discussion] Ethernut strings

Hi to all , how can i , after receiving a string from the pc i can compare only parts of it  instead of the complete string ??? ex. comparing only the two first columns of the complete string

I am doing a robot application to control a rover . It will be controlling around 10 servos with a motor and it will be using for feedback encoders. Should i divide the application in threads??? ... or writing the complete program in one thread should not cause any problem???
