[En-Nut-Discussion] DIO with ethernut 3.0 Rev-D

I am new to ethernut.
Installation of software and creation of some examples worked fine, but I was unable to figure out how DIO can be achieved on ethernut 3.0.

My goal is, to control individual pins on the expansion port by software.  

It would be highly appreciated if you could give me some hints, perhaps there are some code snippets or additional documentation available on this topic?
