[En-Nut-Discussion] About Ethernut

Hello to all,

i found this site to internet.
I woult like to create a communication system between MCU's in one network.
I woult like to use the common protocols (TPC/IP) but not Ethernet but
something else like I2C protocol as a fyshical layer to OSI Specification.
I don't know if this can happen but as i had see the manuals i can create a
device driver to do this and to working as good as the ehternet.
I would like to do this because is a low cost the I2c protocl as the
ethernet and if in the future i would like to upgrate the system i can only
recompile my sources with new Device.

Can i use the Ethrnut on my boards? or is only for ethrnut boards?
