Hi Ovidiu,

to connect up to 16 µC I would prefer a bus system like LIN.
All you need is a LIN Transceiver (TJA1020 Philips, TH8061 Melexis with 
integrated Voltage regulator) for each µC. The LIN-Bus needs a single 
wire and GND only to connect all of them.

Ask me for details.
