[En-Nut-Discussion] Install fails on OpenSUSE 10.2

I have successfully installed ethernut 4.3.3 configurator under windows
and got AVR Studio to debug code with a JTAGICEMkII. Trying to get the
ethernut software installed under OpenSUSE is giving me problems. I have
'Googled' and search the ethernut-discussion archives without success.
During './configure' the compiler reports that it cannot locate the
libraries for lua:

  checking for lua... /usr/bin/lua
checking for library containing lua_open... no
checking for library containing luaL_loadfile... no
configure: WARNING: Lua library missing, will not build configuration
tools.

Lua is installed, as seen above (I have tried versions 5.0.2-13 and
5.1.1-20, with & without lua-devel as well), but the libraries are
seemingly not found.
Has anyone had a similar experience and could give me any tips ?

Many Thanks,

Robert von Knobloch
