Hi,
Yes, it's true, while it's generated by sw (like on avr) but sam7x has a
nice hw rs485, so you don't need to use GPIO for this, SAM7x can handle it
from hw.
And it's working fine now. :)

RS485 is not about RTS, it is about HDX pin.
Look for UART_HDX_PORT, UART_HDX_BIT.
