[En-Nut-Discussion] Ethernet Failure

Hi Everyone
 

 I am using an ethernut 1.3 , and till now i had no problems what soever with building an application on it. 
   However i recently had to use the ethernet part of this device, (up to now i only tested ethernet with basemon and everything worked fine)  i noticed how ever that any other attempt to use ethernet was a failure even the precompiled examples tcps, httpserver did not manage to establish an ethernet connection ,moreover the NutDhcpIfConfig returns prior to the timeout 
unsuccesfully ofourse.I ve tried setting the CONFNET structure manually  and calling NutNetIfConfig
but still i  couldnt connect to the dhcp server(a Level One switch-hub
serves as my DHCP server,it supports 10mb ethernet ) 
    The only application that can connect and works as it should
is the basemon application .(The ethernet device due to basemons findings
is realtek)  
     Any idea why this peculiar things happen?

PS calls  to NutDhcpStatus returns 0 and to NutDhcpError 19 
some times when i add RouteAdd  NutDchpStatus returns 0 and NutDhcpError 0!!
and still nothing works
