Alain,

unfortunately it doesn´t depend on the FLASHBASE pointer. I do some more
testing and see that any change of the code produces the error if the asm
code the compiler generates for the function is more than 52 bytes long. 
very crazy :(
i keep on trying to solve  it, but for the moment i´ve no idea where to
search.
