I fully agree, this is a good idea. Right now I'm traveling a lot and 
just have a few days left in Germany. I won't be available before the 
20th of October. Can we delay the discussion about a meeting until then? 
Nevertheless, I'm quite excited about this and will add a few comments here:

When thinking about the most active contributors, they are spread over 
Europe, America and Australia. A physical meeting would be attractive 
but probably too difficult. IMHO, a video conference will the best 
alternative. Our company never did such a thing. Only telephone 
conferences, but an audio only conference is sometimes difficult to 
follow for non-native speakers. May be someone around here has some 
experience with video conferences? Of course egnite will take over any 
costs, if required.

Upfront we need a good preparation. Wouldn't
