Indeed my motivation for re-structuring the Makefiles was to simplify
this kind of modifications. In fact I want to be able to configure
Nut/OS libs to run in thumb, interwork or ARM mode.
More things need to be done. Compiler specific settings should be moved
from board.conf files to Configurator Settings. In turn that would
require additional parameters for the nutconfigure CLI, which should be
able to alternatively read them from prepared files, e.g. "nutconfigure
... @arm-thumb ...". And, of course, we'd need additional Makefile
variables.
