Right now we have one interface and it works fine as a "normal" UDP
application. The trouble starts with multiple interfaces. I can't think
of any other solution than the one you suggested.

In general the limited broadcast address should be sent with TTL=1. The
current stack doesn't do this. I fixed this and will commit it to the
trunk soon.
