The CAN buffer size does not really fit into the port I/O category, I agree.
I thought about what would be an appropriate place and nothing better came
to my mind and I did not want to create another header file just for one
configuration entry. 
The file include/cfg/dev.h would be the next best option and we can change
it if a better suggestion comes about.
