Hi Henrik,

we were not simply able to run on timer2 in async. mode. However we 
checked all register settings several times, we obtained different 
periods than what we expected.
The problem is, that with 8 bit timer and internal oscillator, you 
cannot get beyond 17ms. Moreover we did not computed divisible values.

With timer1, this problem disappears and we are currently running with 50ms.
