This means, that the remote sent RST in response to SYN.

Either the port is _not_ correct or the server refuses to talk to the
Ethernut's IP because of security reasons.

Also note, that the current trunk contains nut/pro/smtpc.c. However, I'm
quite sure that this will show the same problem.
