formating a dataflash with FAT is not a good idea especially when you
have a higher data throughput. FAT does not implement any kind of ware
leveling so you'll use some flash sectors more often than others.
Perhaps it might be a better Idea to implement your own type of data
storage filesystem?

A simple flash file system with ware leveling would be a real cool
extension to NutOS :)
