[En-Nut-Discussion] Yagarto from 23.12.2009 and newlib again...

Hi!

I installed a fresh yagarto and now run into these compatibility issues
for newlib.
I solved the first problems by using
http://www.ethernut.de/pdf/enswm28e.pdf page 23.

But I got stuck on these incompatibilities of char and int:
"warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast"
I have quite several of these while building Nut/OS.

I searched backwards through the list and did find lots of newlib
discussions but no answer to this problem touching a lot of string
functions.

If it's safe, is there a compiler switch to kill this message or is
there a smarter solution to breaking up Nut/OS compatibility?

Ah, if there is a smart solution, I'll put it in the FAQs asap.

For reference:

This build of yagarto use the following versions:
binutils: 2.20
gcc: 4.4.2
newlib: 1.18.0
gdb: 7.0.1

(23.12.2009, mifi)
Best regards, Ulrich
