Hi,
I tried to use the SPDuo (latest firmware 2.3) with latest AVRStudio IDE
(version 4.18 build 176 SP3). I can connect to the target, check fuses
and even erase the device and check signature bytes from the IDE.
However when attempting to flash I get the error message:
Getting isp parameter.. SD=0x98 .. OK
ISP frequency must be 5KHz or above when programming EEPROM or FLASH!
The reported ISP frequency is 2.010 kHz and increasing the value does
not have any effect.
Programming using Atmel's stk500.exe command line tool from AVRStudio
4.18 does work without problems. So does avrdude.
I used to be able to use the SPDuo from the IDE (a few years ago) but
now it seems broken. Is this perhaps a SPDuo/AVRStudio compatibility issue?
Henrik
