Hi Joerg,

do have checked the values in the constant areas? I think it bust be 
then .data section. Do you have the J-Link form Segger. Try to use a 
debugger and step in your program and check the constant areas.

I have also a app with a size of 400k running on an board like the EIR. 
I had only problems with openOCD, SAMBA and J-Link works perfect.
