I really would be happy to see all patches and merges to a 4.10.0
version appear before merging new architectures.

May be I was the one who erroneously committed something from my
modifications on that driver... It must be half a year ago, I think.

If you look at that code, maybe you could move the SAM7 init for the PHY
out to the board.c? If not, its ok, but it would help a lot.

I check that piece of code too.
