your mail isn't clear about your vote _for_ or _against_ such macros.

Anyways, I have added the braces proposed by Harald to my tree.

While sbi translate into something like s_et b_it i_ndex (index or field),
sbv would translate into s_et b_it v_alue. Both kind of macros should coexist.
