Hello Ole,
have you seen this one 'RX62N'? It's cheep and powerful.
I would like to use this one in a new project.
How much work is it to port ethernut for a new controller?
The other way is to use the Renesas Library.
Regards
Hermann

Hello,

Yes, we have started some experiments with NutOS for Luminary chips. I
have two eval boards here with LM3S8962 and LM3S9B96.
But that still quite and in the very first stage. If you need further
support send me a private mail.
Bye,
Ole

Looks like a good way to get more people involved, which would be great.

I couldn't find exactly what mentors are required to do, but perhaps I
can volunteer.
We need to figure out a list of ideas for students.

What would that enable us? I'm not sure what are the advantages or down
sides.
Kind Regards,
