[En-Nut-Discussion] Nut/OS on ATMEGA32 or ATMEGA64 possible?

Hello all

I created successfully an application with my ethernut 21.b to control an RGB
LED with an IR remote control.

Now I would like to build a board by it myself, containing only the necessary
components. Size/pin wise it would fit into an ATMEGA32, or ATMEGA64, but are
they supported by Nut/OS? [1] Mentioned only support for ATMEGA128 and
TMEGA2561, same in the Nut/OS configurator.

Is it still possible to download an ATMEGA128 application to an ATMEGA32 or
ATMEGA64? Of course the flash/ram size and available options have to be met.
Does it need special compiler options? Or is it not easily possible due the
requirements of Nut/OS (registers, timers, ...)

If it is involving a lot of changes, it might be easier to invest the extra
money/space and buy an ATMEGA128, even it would be over-sized.

Thank you for your help/suggestions
George
