Personally I did not yet work with the STM32, so better ask Ulrich or
Uwe, wo work on the STM32 port. I'm currently working on the LPC port.

But for me the Maple board looks quite reasonable, but this depends a
lot on the STM32 family you want to use as they have a wide range of
controller "sizes".
