That is correct if you want to use Atmel's DFU bootloader. Otherwise,
you can just erase the bootloader and program the device without
linking against trampoline.o. I suppose this is more related to the
bootloader itself than to ethernut.

I'm not sure if we can assume trampoline.o to be in a default search
path for the linker. If we can, than we could add an option to the
configurator. Right now it's up to the application's Makefiles.
