Hi,

I've started with some statistics.

http://www.ethernut.de/arc/ethernut13f-imgsizes.pdf

shows the binary image sizes of several sample applications build for
Ethernut 1.3 from Subversion snapshots r2555 up to r4672. The diagram
shows a significant increase from r3584 to r3616. It's probably worth to
further evaluate this. It's also interesting to see, that Uwe's latest
changes resulted in a notable decrease in image sizes of the GPIO
oriented samples portdio and tcps.

If you want to play with the figures, then

http://www.ethernut.de/arc/ethernut13f-imgsizes.csv

contains the numbers in a comma-separated format, which you can load
into Excel or OpenOffice Calc.

Note, that the gaps are caused by failed builds.

Furthermore there is

http://www.ethernut.de/arc/nutos.x264.avi

which contains a visual presentation of the Nut/OS repository commits. I
did this a few months ago using

http://code.google.com/p/gource/

It doesn't reflect the latest changes. I also have a HD version with a
fixed camera, but that one is 9 GByte, too large for our webserver. :-(

Note, that I just started the upload of the video, which may take a few
hours.

Regards,

Harald
