The long time target is to add USB support to NUTOS by somehow allow to use
the MIT licensed LUFA code. Hopefully with very few modifications to the
distributed code. AT90USB1287 seems to be the prime target for the LUFA
code, so this is a common denominator. Even longer term target is to extend
LUFA to the STM32. 

Ideas, hlep and comments welcome!
