Hello,

I think it is a great way to work with git svn on the ethernut
repository. Inital checkout however takes some time. I have a clean checkout
with everything removed beside the .git directory and ignore rule
applied. The file is about 44 MByte tarred and zipped. If we distribute this
tar file, people can easily get a working git svn repo by:
- tar fxz ethernut-code.git.tar.gz
- cd ethernut-code
- git checkout -- .

And
- git svn rebase
will bring the repositry up to date.

Should I upload? And where?

B.t.w. Sorry for the last messages in german. They were meant for private
mail...

Bye
