I do not have any experience with the IAR compiler and I haven't
heard about any plans to port Nut/OS to IAR so far.

PAP is working fine here, but the 3.0.1 release doesn't implement
all situations and may not work with your provider.

Without 32k SRAM, you can use Nut/OS, but definitely not the
network part Nut/Net. Just the PPP input buffer alone needs
1500 bytes.
