| If the board still executes the code, I can hardly
| think of defect on the Ethernut board. But some
| things to try:
|
| - Use another power supply. Don't ask, just do it!
| (I'm a little bit tired of discussing power supply
| issues. :-))

I tried this on three different power supplies, including a brand new
9V/1A one.

|
| - Close the jumper near the ISP connector.

I admit I haven't tried that and I gave the programming adapters to a
friend to check them so I can't try that at the moment. Used to work
perfectly without the jumper though. Will test and report as soon as I
get the programmers back.

|
| - Keep the reset button pressed.

No success.

|
| - Re-install the programming software. It may also
| be possible, that you installed some other software,
| which disturbs the parallel port driver.

I'm using Linux uisp, I don't know what might go wrong there, I didn't
install any other software (and I don't think I've upgraded in a while).

|
| - Use another PC. Your PP might be broken.

I did a fresh gcc-avr + uisp install on my laptop and the results are
the same. Granted, I haven't used the PP on the laptop before so there's
a possibility that it too is fried. Will try attaching a printer or
something to test. BTW, what is the correct/best PP mode for Ethernut
programming?

|
| Let me know about failure or success.

At the moment it's a failure, I'll test it with the jumper set soon.
