           Iam Krishna pavan....Regarding the RTL8019AS chip i have 
one suggestion for you.....Will it not be a good idea if you can try 
out for an ethernet card(the ISA bus compatible card---with RTL8019AS 
being on board) and try to interface that with your TI development 
board....that may also eliminate your problems with soldering the 
pins of the chip on to the board too....i think u can try out for 
that card in old PC's since new ones are using PCI slots.... 
          Ok,and  by the way may i know your personal details as to 
where u are from and your university.........
