[En-Nut-Discussion] influence of GCC_DEBUG in nut/os config

Hello,
I wish to compile nutos with the debug information.
I use WinAVR, AVRStudio 4.12.498, ethernut software 4.2.1 and hardware
1.3-H, 
I validated the option : TOOLS > GCC Settings > Include debug info but it
doesn't seem to have no influence.

When that I run make in the build directory, the displayed commands make no
option appear -g (stabs or dwarf-2)...

What is the influence of this GCC_DEBUG option???
